Ok, now that I've mastered this patten with the added lining and an all-machine invisible zipper, it's time to put it to rest for a while. Here are two more dresses I whipped up in the last couple days. The second print I scored during my last trip to New York some time ago, somewhere in the garment district. The first is a quilting cotton that I found at Pacific Fabrics. I know it will wrinkle like crazy and many people consider these cottons too plebeian to use for apparel, but I knew this one was special. It is a perfect print for this kind of dress. Both fit like a glove and turned out flawless.
