And so I start off 2014 by making three dressy blouses, using very delicate poly chiffon and real chiffon prints, and embellishing them with fancy trims.
Sewing the trims on by hand is a painstaking job, but I think they turned out ok.
The last one, the vintage-looking Jane Austen-esque print (my favorite and oh so thin!), half a yard of that trim cost more than the entire yardage of the print and the lining.
These were all very slippery fabrics but I've conquered them :)
