Tis the season of party dresses so I can't stop making them :) This is a great poly fabric from JoAnn's, with tiny hearts that give it some texture, and remnants of the sequined knit I used a while ago to make that cool little pencil skirt (http://www.trapkeybygaia.com/2013/10/sequined-pencil-skirt.html).
This is an altered version of my own pattern for a dress with a gathered waist. I added the epaulettes in the shoulders and I did the neckline differently, without the bias tape, using the lining instead. It kind of works, but imho I can perfect it even more. Needless to say, I'm going to do this again, maybe with a print :)
