I saw this dark green velvet at Hancock Fabrics and bought all the remnants (about 1.5 yards) for $5. I was thinking, next Xmas, chic little dress :) Drove straight to Pacific Fabrics in Northgate and picked out one of the most expensive trims (1 yard), around $35 per yard. Put two and two together and voila :) When I was cutting this dress, I immediately remembered how Scarlett was making herself a fancy dress out of her mother's old green drapes :)
